Compare Carry-On Backpacks

Three practical ways to pack a cabin-first trip: a compact 21L everyday/travel pack, a lighter clamshell travel backpack in 28L or 34L, or the Island Hopper bundle if you want the packing system included.

Quick comparison

COR Surf Island Hopper 2.0 — 34L 34L Approx. 19.15 × 11.25 × 9.75 in Approx. 2.5 lb Up to 16 in Longer trips or travelers who want more packing room and a hideaway waist belt

Which one should you choose?

Choose the Conceal Pack 21L if you want the smallest profile here and expect the bag to spend as much time commuting or carrying daily gear as it does traveling.

Choose the Island Hopper 2.0 28L if you want more travel-specific organization, a clamshell opening, and the lowest empty weight of these options.

Choose the Island Hopper 2.0 34L if you are willing to carry a slightly deeper bag for extra capacity and the added waist belt.

Want the organizer system included?

The COR Surf Island Hopper Travel Bundle combines an Island Hopper backpack with compression packing cubes, a toiletry bag, and a laundry/shoe bag. The live bundle currently includes four backpack choices: original 28L, 28L Gen 2, 34L Gen 2, and original 40L. The 40L is approximately 19.25 × 12.5 × 12.25 in and about 3.2 lb, making it materially deeper than the standalone 28L and 34L Gen 2 options. Because the 40L is a bundle configuration rather than a standalone Island Hopper 2.0 product on Stowage, it is not included in the main table above.

Bundle price varies by selected size, generation, and color. Check the selected variant before adding to cart.
